Frequently Asked Questions

How is the peel applied?

The peel application requires two back to back days. We recommend planning for 3 hours on each day for appx 6 hours total.

It takes about 30 min to apply, followed by a 2 hour processing time, and a 30 min removal time.

While processing you will be able to comfortably relax alone in a quiet, darkened room. Many clients sleep through most of the peel or bring an audiobook to enjoy.

About 7-8 days after application, you will return for a follow up appointment where we remove any lingering areas of peeling skin.

Once you leave this appointment your skin will be looking refreshed and beautiful.

Due to the unique nature of this peel, water must be avoided until the follow up removal appointment. This means no full showering or hair washing for 1 week.

Post-peel instructions are to apply StemFactor twice a day & become close friends with dry shampoo :)

To initiate this system, clients will need to complete 2 Peels performed 6 weeks apart.

After the 1st two peels, most clients will only need to repeat the peel once every 10-12 months to continue supporting their collagen matrix. We love the simplicity of planning for only one downtime treatment year!

*For more extreme situations, we may recommend 3 initial peels, and/or 2 maintenance peels throughout the year.

The majority of clients do very well maintaining with one annual peel combined with regular Infusion Treatments to keep skin in a progressive state and provide complete long-term support.

Clients usually continue with regular Infusion Treatments every 4-7 weeks (depending on desired support level) until it is time to reboot the Elaine Brennan Peel 10-12 months later.

 

The best candidates are individuals who have already taken steps to get their skin into a healthy & well-functioning place through proper home care and professional treatments.

If your skin isn’t used to remodeling or restructuring on a regular basis, then it will be harder for it to hold onto these bigger changes.

Everyone will have beautiful initial results, but in order to have long lasting results you will need to be assessed to ensure your skin is ready for the challenge. We require that clients have completed a minimum of 2 regular peels with us prior to switching over to the new peel system.

Any stimulating treatment can bring out a fever blister, and we want to minimize any unnecessary discomfort. It would also be ok if you already take L-Lysine daily as a preventative.

Individual Elaine Brennan Peels are $900 and we offer a package of 2 peels for $1700. The 2 peel package is recommended for anyone initiating the peel or for clients who are looking to reboot both the face and chest within the same year.
